What I'm looking for

I am seeking senior DBA roles focused on high-availability, cloud migrations (Azure/AWS), performance tuning, and incident-driven production support within collaborative, ITIL-aligned teams.

I am an MS SQL Server Database Administrator with 15+ years in IT, combining 7 years of focused DBA work and 8 years in production support. I specialize in installations, upgrades, migrations, HA solutions (Log Shipping, Always On), backup/recovery strategies, performance tuning, and incident/change management.

I've led and participated in cloud migration projects to Azure and AWS, created HA architectures, configured load balancers, and automated SQL Server tasks while using tools like ServiceNow, Idera, PerfMon, and SQL Profiler. I have hands-on experience with SQL Server versions from 2012 through 2019 and have executed version upgrades, patching, and cross-environment support (production, staging, test, development).

I bring strong problem-solving skills, on-call (24x7) support experience, familiarity with ITIL processes, and team leadership from application support roles. I hold an MBA and consistently work to improve availability, performance, and operational processes for enterprise database environments.
