At the Centre for Sustainable Technologies, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), I perform microbiological analysis of water-quality, environmental, and agricultural samples. My work includes microbial culture, sample processing, and viable-cell/CFU enumeration.
I conduct antimicrobial efficacy studies using plasma-activated water against environmental bacterial isolates, following aseptic techniques and contamination-control practices. This research also formed the focus of my M.Sc. thesis, which evaluated plasma-activated water as a sustainable antimicrobial treatment.
I maintain laboratory notebooks and research records, prepare media and reagents, and assist with equipment handling and calibration-related activities. I hold an M.Sc. in Microbiology from St. Joseph’s University, Bengaluru.
