Devon Daviau

I’m a senior front-end engineer with 10+ years of experience building modern web applications with React, Next.js, and TypeScript. I bring deep expertise in component architecture, REST API integration, and creating performant, high-scale interfaces grounded in excellent user experience and accessibility.

I enjoy owning the front-end end-to-end—from architecture decisions and prototyping through production deployment and ongoing iteration. In my current role, I build and maintain a high-scale Next.js SaaS platform, inheriting a mature codebase and continuously extending it with new features while protecting established design patterns and performance.

I actively integrate AI-assisted development tooling into my day-to-day workflow, including Claude Code, MCP servers, and the Anthropic API. I also have hands-on experience integrating LLM-powered features into web applications, using these tools to accelerate prototyping and iteration cycles.

Previously, I led client-facing and agency-side front-end work by translating business requirements into polished, responsive implementations, with cross-browser and cross-device testing as a core quality bar. I’ve also modernized front-end tooling and workflows (including Gatsby adoption and legacy maintenance), and I mentor junior developers to help teams ship faster with confidence.
