Onyango Desai

I am a final-year Information and Communication Technology student with hands-on experience in coding (HTML, CSS) and ICT fundamentals from Riragia Technical and Vocational College.

For over four years I have worked as a field enumerator on the SATREPS Malaria Project in Homa Bay County, mobilizing community participants, conducting interviews, and educating residents on malaria prevention.

I have practical experience using Android data-collection applications such as REDCap and Census Survey Entry, managing devices to prevent data loss, and reliably meeting daily targets through effective teamwork and time management.

I am passionate about applying coding and artificial intelligence to solve real-world problems and contributing to public-health efforts that reduce malaria prevalence in my community and across Kenya.
