Deeksheetha Prabhu Venkatesh

I am an accomplished oral pathologist and dentist with a strong foundation in clinical diagnostics, molecular techniques, and forensic odontology. I completed my BDS and MDS from Saveetha Dental College in Chennai, where I honed my skills in diagnosing and managing complex oral lesions, including premalignant and malignant cases. My dedication to research is evident through my publication of 35 peer-reviewed articles and the filing of two patents, showcasing my commitment to innovation and excellence in the field.

During my residency at Saveetha Dental College, I contributed significantly to cancer surveillance in Tamil Nadu, collaborating with the Tamil Nadu Cancer Registry Project (TNCRP) to provide crucial data for evidence-based cancer control strategies. My training in advanced molecular techniques at Tokushima University in Japan further enhanced my research capabilities, allowing me to lead initiatives in molecular research techniques such as PCR, ELISA, and DNA/RNA extraction. I am proficient in statistical analysis using SPSS and power analysis, which complements my clinical expertise.
