Deborah Chidi

I am a passionate and innovative educator with over three years of experience delivering high impact lessons, specializing in English language. My education bridges academic theory and real-life experiences, helping students build understanding and personal growth.

I have supported and led learning as a High School Teacher Assistant (Intern) at Government Technical High School Omoku and Community Secondary School, Ndele. I developed and implemented curriculum in line with school guidelines, organized daily classes, and tracked students’ progress to provide feedback to school authorities.

In my current role, I develop structured lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and incorporate real-life examples to strengthen listening, speaking, reading, and writing. I assign classwork, homework, and assessments, design and administer tests and examinations, and maintain discipline to ensure a positive learning environment.

I focus on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment while teaching children, adolescents, and adults, tailoring support for various backgrounds. I’m certified by TRCN and working toward TEFL certification, bringing both strong teaching practice and a commitment to continuous improvement.
