At Microtech Environmental Services Corp., I researched environmental and property projects involving redevelopment, demolition, and remediation. I organized findings and maintained Excel databases to support project planning and environmental due diligence.
At Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics North America, I led a waste audit at the Huntington store and worked with Lush’s Sustainability team and employees at other stores to assess waste streams. I introduced reusable tools and plastic recycling at Huntington, and presented recommendations to retail leadership.
I also presented the Bring It Back program to retail stores, covering packaging eligibility, sorting, and contamination prevention. After the presentation, Lush’s Sustainability team reported a significant reduction in program contamination.
Earlier, I analyzed lead-contamination data at New York League of Conservation Voters and supported GIS-based mapping and an environmental research report. My work has also included asbestos air sampling, sustainable fashion research, and sustainability analysis covering corporate reporting and net-zero plans.
