What I'm looking for

I’m looking for research collaborations and applied R&D work in photonics and fiber lasers—where I can combine modeling, precision fabrication, and experimental characterization to build scalable, high-performance optical systems with strong quality and reliability.

I’m a research engineer focused on the end-to-end lifecycle of photonic devices for high-power fiber lasers, from computational modeling to advanced fabrication and experimental validation. I use MATLAB, Python, and Lumerical for predictive modeling and performance optimization, then validate designs with precision interferometric characterization.

In fabrication, I operate Vytran GPX3400 for custom fiber components (power combiners, tapers, splices) and perform FBG inscription using UV lasers and phase mask techniques. I also bring leadership and laboratory expertise—from managing metrology and NDT laboratories to overseeing engineering operations and maintenance readiness in naval roles—grounding my work in quality, safety, and reliability.
