David Ash

At RealGifts, I worked as a Backend Developer, building and maintaining production web applications. My background includes APIs and reporting systems for e-commerce, B2B2C, lending, and marketing businesses.

I've worked hands-on across custom and legacy codebases, including MySQL schema design, vendor API integration, admin tooling, and audit and accounting reporting. I'm self-taught, and use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor to accelerate delivery.
