Daniel Ige

I am a recent Master of Public Health graduate with a strong foundation in public health and data analysis. My academic journey has equipped me with the skills to extract insights from data using various analytical and visualization techniques, which I am eager to apply in a professional setting. I am particularly passionate about advancing public health initiatives through data-driven decision-making.

In my current role as a Program Assistant at the Union County Department of Health, I analyze trends in communicable diseases, including COVID-19, utilizing R programming. I also design and maintain Tableau dashboards to track vaccinations and inspection activities, ensuring that data is clean and merged from multiple sources for accurate reporting. My previous experience as a Research Assistant at Montclair State University allowed me to assist in cleaning and analyzing data for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, where I generated summary tables and visualizations that contributed to a faculty-led study on health disparities.
