I am an experienced accountant with over five years working in the electronic security sector, specializing in financial reporting, budgeting, costing, taxation and implementation of internal controls. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Banking and Finance from the University of Zimbabwe and am a Chartered Governance and Accountancy Professional (CGI)/CIS candidate for 2024.
At Safeguard Alarms I progressed from Costing Clerk to Bookkeeper, managing general ledger reconciliations, cashflow, debtors and creditors, stock and margin analysis, statutory payments (PAYE, NSSA, VAT) and preparation of audit files. I have practical experience with Pastel Evolution, Pastel Partner and AccPac, and routinely liaise with ZIMRA, banks, NSSA and external auditors.
