I am an experienced accounts professional from Sri Lanka with decades of progressive work across bookkeeping, stock control, and senior accounting roles. I have managed full accounting functions, implemented QuickBooks, and handled exports/imports and related compliance.
Throughout my career I progressed from accounts clerk and bookkeeper to senior accountant and accounts manager, serving in garment, gems, engineering, aviation and holdings companies. I have completed stages of the International Association of Bookkeepers and other professional examinations, and I currently freelance as an accountant/bookkeeper.
I take responsibility for end-to-end accounting operations including EPF/ETF, VAT, company tax, exchange control, payroll, cash and bank control, purchasing, stores, debtors/creditors and final accounts, while also training junior staff and producing management accounts.
