Cynthia Wanjiru Nderitu

I am a dedicated geospatial engineer with nearly three years of hands-on experience in data management, spatial analysis, and designing geospatial systems for agriculture, disaster resilience, and urban development. My work centers on creating practical, data-driven solutions that inform decision-making in emerging economies.

Currently I serve as an Executive Partner through Athena, supporting the Revenue Operations Manager at InBody Inc., where I lead Zoho CRM administration, generate monthly analytics, and produce strategic performance reports to inform leadership decisions. This role has expanded my operational and executive capabilities alongside my technical skill set.

Previously, at Oakar Services Ltd., I developed and documented geospatial ML models for crop identification and yield estimation, designed a GIS-based emergency response system that reduced intervention time, processed UAV imagery to create ortho-mosaics and terrain models for 40 informal settlements, and trained over 100 clients on GIS and drone mapping tools.

I am passionate about applying geodata to real-world challenges in the Global South, mentoring others into STEM, and building capacity through training and knowledge management. I seek opportunities that combine technical GIS and remote sensing work with strategic, impact-driven projects and collaborative teams.
