Connor Ogilvie
@connorogilvie
I build production iOS apps for healthcare, government, mental health, and communications products.
What I'm looking for
I've built production iOS applications at FreshWorks Studio and EY Design Studio for healthcare, government, mental health, and commercial products. Over eight years, I progressed from iOS Developer Trainee to Senior iOS Developer while taking on increasingly complex work and technical ownership.
As Lead iOS Developer on BC Health Gateway, I helped launch and evolve BC's digital health platform from the original BC Vaccine Card initiative. I helped establish its iOS architecture, reusable patterns, coding conventions, and workflows while collaborating across Android, design, QA, web, product, and technical architecture teams.
I've independently delivered iOS apps including CMHA, SDPR, CoquitlamConnect, MindShift CBT, the District of West Vancouver app, and a custom iPad experience for the Chinatown Storytelling Centre. My work includes CallKit calling, WebSockets, Bluetooth, RSS/XML integrations, local notification synchronization, accessibility, localization, and custom interactive UI.
More recently, I've led and contributed to technical discovery work for BC Health, evaluating Salesforce and digital solution options for public-sector healthcare initiatives. I bring hands-on Swift and UIKit development alongside practical experience translating product requirements into reliable mobile solutions.
