What I'm looking for

I'm seeking to contribute to LAN/WLAN modernization and implementation on TekSynap’s Network Engineer travel team.

I'm a Network Specialist with hands-on experience supporting enterprise LANs, Juniper networking, lab validation, and secure connectivity. At TekSynap I supported engineers with routing, switching, connectivity troubleshooting, implementation preparation, documentation, EVE-NG labs, and network testing. I supported a Juniper EX VLAN deployment (subnet and gateway assignments, DHCP/DNS requirements, security zone placement, and switch trunking), worked with SRX firewall zones, policies, and tunnel interface validation, and evaluated Azure IPsec/VPN connectivity options with engineers.

I also built Texalidate, a Python prototype that compares expected and actual Linux/Junos interface states and produces readable results and JSON reports, with CLI error handling, report summaries, and 10 tests. Earlier I maintained servers, switches, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and VPN services as an Operations Technician, installed security and access-control systems, and helped with AWS/GCP virtual networks as a Network Administrator Intern.

I hold a BS in Information Technology from Western Governors University (2024) and CompTIA Security+, Network+, A+, and Project+, Juniper JNCIA-DC, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certifications. I'm currently working toward JNCIS-DC.
