Clara Miguez
@claramiguez
Forest Planning Technician at Ence Energía y Celulosa, using GIS and LiDAR to map and plan forest management and restoration projects.
What I'm looking for
At Ence Energía y Celulosa, I use QGIS and ArcGIS to analyse territory, manage spatial data, and produce maps for forest planning and assessment. I also process PNOA and terrestrial LiDAR data and draft forest management, harvesting, reforestation, and CO₂ absorption projects.
At the Lourizán Forest Research Centre, I processed multispectral imagery and LiDAR to assess pine regeneration after wildfire, and worked on fire-risk mapping and hydrological modelling. My research has appeared in peer-reviewed journals, including Remote Sensing and Hydrological Sciences Journal. I’m looking for an innovative environment where I can keep developing my skills and produce high-quality work.
