Christopher Ponjul Danladi

I’m a result-driven Actuarial Science graduate with strong analytical and problem solving skills, and I’m passionate about applying analytical skills to support data-driven business decisions and risk management. I’m proficient in statistical modeling, data analysis, and financial risk assessment, and I’m experienced in Excel for modeling and analysis.

In my final year project, I explored “The Role of Defined Contribution Plan in the Future of Pension,” where I analyzed the benefits (portability, flexibility, individual control) and challenges (investment risk, financial literacy) of DC plans. I compared DC plans with traditional Defined Benefit plans and examined the impact on retirement security in Nigeria, building Excel models to project outcomes under different contribution and investment scenarios.

During my National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), I taught basic technology and sciences to secondary school students, prepared lesson plans, and assessed students performance—strengthening my communication, leadership, and organisational skills. As President of the Environmental CDS Group, I led and coordinated community development service environmental activities, organized sanitation and awareness programs, and managed team planning, delegation of tasks, and execution of projects.
