I’m an education counselor and teacher who’s motivated by doing work to the highest standard, catching errors early, and supporting learners with care and structure. I lead with initiative and work confidently both in teams and independently.
Since 2022, I’ve worked as a Counselor at Ocean Springs College, providing mental and physical support for learners who need it most, delivering behavioral support, and coordinating crisis intervention when necessary. I also create plans for staffing, appraisals, and staff training, while ensuring quality teaching and supervision.
Before that, I served as a Teacher and Learning Mediator (including roles in Lagos State and Benin City). I developed lesson plans, taught entire classes, tracked students’ progress, created tests, and reinforced classroom rules—while also supporting students experiencing emotional difficulties through guided conversations and issue resolution.
I bring a health education foundation and community focus from my BEd in Health Education (University of Benin) and service experiences. I’ve supervised antenatal unit learning as a Health Educator, promoted preventive medicine over curative approaches, and supported community seminars tied to environmental sanitation and nation-building.
