At the Department of Social Development in Matobo, I supported the management of cases involving children at risk, including children on the streets, unaccompanied migrant children, and children experiencing neglect or abuse. I assisted with case assessments, home visits, referrals, and service coordination for vulnerable children and families.
I provided psychosocial support to vulnerable children and young offenders, and worked with schools, community leaders, the Victim Friendly Unit, and health services on child welfare programmes. I also trained Community Childcare Workers and Child Protection Committees on child protection and gender-based violence prevention.
