Chenwi Junior

At the University of Buea, I’m pursuing a BSc in Social Work, with a focus on how people and communities are affected by social systems and emerging technology. I’m interested in AI safety, responsible AI, governance, and technology policy.

As an IT Intern at Atlantic Business House, I supported technology-related activities, digital information management, research, and documentation. I also gained practical experience troubleshooting computer systems.

On the Health Link Project, I participated in work to improve access to health-related information through digital technology. I gathered information from patients, hospitals, and pharmacies about medicines and availability, and supported information organization and community outreach.

I currently serve as President of St. Stephen Guild and as Mr. SPL with Servants of the Pascal Lamb Ministry, supporting coordination, communication, and community service. My academic foundation includes Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science, and I’m developing deeper expertise in the societal and ethical implications of advanced AI.
