What I'm looking for

I'm looking for a financial management opportunity closer to Meyerton where I can improve financial systems and strategies, strengthen cashflow and controls, and support strategic growth and operational performance.

I'm currently strengthening financial systems, cashflow management, and operational performance at VEA Group, supporting Bedfounders and previously VEA Foods and VEA Tel.

At Bedfounders, I reduced debtors from R15m to R6m in my first year and improved bill-of-material processing time per product from 20 minutes to 3 minutes. I oversee budgets, management accounts, tax submissions, stock, creditors, debtors, fleet, and production planning.

I manage a team of three finance and office staff while working with auditors, factory personnel, HR matters, and union or bargaining council requirements. I also build templates for new processes, unit profitability, and project models.

Previously at Wildswinkel, I progressed from Junior Accountant to Senior Accountant and General Manager/Financial Manager across multiple entities. My foundation as a SAIPA Trainee Accountant includes annual financial statements, tax, VAT submissions, management accounts, and bank reconciliations.
