I bring a strong analytical mindset built on a career shift from education into data. After 25 years teaching Mathematics up to undergraduate level, I progressed from Educational Publishing into a Product Owner role, and then completed Data Science and Data Analytics training in 2023.
Since Sept 2024, I’ve worked in the BI & Data Engineering team at Jisc, developing stakeholder-focused dashboards in Tableau, troubleshooting data quality and pipeline issues, and transforming pipelines with Pentaho. I work with API integrations and Databricks SQL, manage releases through GitHub, and combine clear communication with continuous learning to turn complex problems into reliable, decision-ready insights.
