Chamara Gunasingha

I am a Network and Security enthusiast with over two years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, high-performance networks. I take pride in building practical solutions that make networks easier and smarter for users.

At Connex I delivered Level 1 and Level 2 technical support, led POC implementations for switches, wireless access points, security gateways and PBX systems, and resolved complex technical cases in collaboration with vendor principals. I also planned and executed end-to-end project deliveries, ensuring projects met time and budget goals.

I conduct wireless site surveys, perform comprehensive security assessments, prepare BOQs and tender documentation, and deliver training sessions for channel partners. My formal training includes a First Class BSc (Hons) in Computer Networks and Security and multiple vendor certifications across Extreme, EnGenius, Netgear, Fortinet and cloud basics.

I am highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a customer-focused approach. I seek roles where I can apply practical networking and security expertise, lead technical implementations and POCs, and continue to grow toward senior engineering responsibilities within collaborative teams.
