What I'm looking for
I’m a research-driven Chemistry postgraduate with hands-on experience in advanced laboratory techniques, specifically polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) research for fuel cell applications. In my Summer Internship at NIT Trichy, I examined PEM properties and performance, mastered column chromatography, operated laboratory equipment, and strengthened my scientific data interpretation through thorough research documentation.
Currently, in “Enhancement of Conductivity in Chitosan-Based Proton Exchange Membranes (PEMs),” my objective is to develop an eco-friendly, cost-effective membrane for fuel cells by improving proton conductivity. I incorporate additives like ionic liquids and nanomaterials into the chitosan matrix, then evaluate proton conductivity, thermal stability, and methanol crossover resistance using FTIR and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy—while staying consistent with detailed record-keeping and collaborative lab work.
