Medical doctor and genomic researcher focused on cancer variant interpretation and translational genomics.
What I'm looking for
I am a medical doctor with a strong academic and practical background in molecular genetics and genomics applied to cancer research, currently completing a Master's in Natural Sciences focused on germline and somatic variant analysis in gastric cancer. I have contributed to projects on colorectal and gastric cancer, gaining hands-on experience in exome sequencing, ACMG variant classification, functional assays, and bioinformatic pipelines.
I have teaching experience in primary health care and simulated clinical environments and participate in clinical consultations with cancer genetics specialists. I am driven to advance evidence-based, patient-centered translational genomics and to integrate genomic data into clinical practice.
