What I'm looking for

I’m looking to take on new challenges in Project Management, Clinical Research, or MedTech, bridging research and healthcare to improve human health.

At Champalimaud Foundation, I managed the full publication lifecycle for a peer-reviewed manuscript in Cells, from defining its scope and planning through submission, revisions, and acceptance. I coordinated input from five co-authors and tracked the documentation and journal requirements.

My PhD project at Champalimaud Foundation investigated how dietary interventions affect cell competition and their implications for Alzheimer's Disease and ageing, using Drosophila models. I planned and executed the research from concept through close-out and dissemination, adjusting milestones as new data emerged.

I secured an FCT PhD fellowship through grant applications and co-led the publication process for a review article. I also coordinated a multidisciplinary team and optimized data analysis workflows to support robust, reproducible research.

Earlier, as a Research Technician at Champalimaud Foundation, I coordinated wet lab work and standardized protocols and quality control procedures. I’m now looking to bring my research and project management experience to Project Management, Clinical Research, and MedTech, helping bridge research and healthcare to improve human health.
