What I'm looking for

I’m looking to drive cost optimization and financial discipline through variance analysis, tight internal controls, and management reporting. I want to support operational decision-making with data-driven insights that improve profitability and efficiency.

I’m a results-driven finance professional with over 8 years’ experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, reconciliations, budgeting, and financial controls across manufacturing and banking environments. I translate financial data into actionable insights that strengthen profitability and operational efficiency.

In my current role as a Finance Officer-Factory Operations, I prepare monthly factory management accounts, including production cost statements and variance analysis across material, labour, and overhead. I analyze factory performance against budgets and operational KPIs like cost per unit, yield, and machine efficiency, and I support ongoing budgeting and periodic forecasting for factory operations.

I also maintain the Fixed Asset Register and oversee inventory accounting for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, coordinating stock takes and cycle counts. From reconciling physical stock to system records and investigating variances to processing adjustment journals, I focus on accuracy, controls, and cost reduction. I enforce internal financial controls, oversee procurement-to-pay cycle activities, manage petty cash within approval limits, and act as the primary finance contact for internal and external audits.

Earlier, I strengthened my foundation in banking operations as a Reconciliation Clerk and Bank Teller, performing daily/weekly/monthly reconciliations and supporting monthly and year-end closing processes. I’m driven by a disciplined, data-driven approach—one that helps organizations build financial control, optimize costs, and make better decisions.
