I’m a Security Engineer with over 3 years of experience in Security Operations, email security incidents, and incident response. I investigate phishing attacks, Business Email Compromise (BEC), malicious URLs and attachments, and account compromise activity across enterprise environments.

I strengthen investigations with detailed email header analysis (SMTP headers, Return-Path, Message-ID, Received headers) and authentication validation using SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. I also run Message Trace analysis, analyze IOCs (malicious domains, IPs, URLs, email addresses, file hashes), and apply MITRE ATT&CK to guide detection and triage.

Beyond operations, I designed and developed Peekaan EmailGuard, an enterprise email security platform with a multi-tenant architecture and a SOC Dashboard. I built secure backend services using Go (Golang), REST APIs, and JWT authentication, along with policy management, audit logging, and a layered detection engine for phishing, BEC, email spoofing, malicious URLs, suspicious attachments, and authentication failures.

I’m passionate about building secure, scalable systems and improving organizational security through engineering and automation. I’ve collaborated with cross-functional teams, supported Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, EOP, Microsoft Defender for Office 365) security investigations, and documented SOPs and remediation recommendations to raise overall email security posture.
