At TD Securities, I lead backend development of event-driven payments services using Java 17, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, IBM MQ, and ISO 20022 messaging. I design messaging pipelines and database schemas, and start development tasks with failing tests.
On Life in TOON, my independent engineering project, I’m developing a Java/Spring AI application that integrates OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, and locally hosted Ollama models. I’ve defined specialized agent configurations and am integrating gRPC across its interfaces and backend services.
Across roles at Build.com (Ferguson), Paychex Inc., Blue Cross Blue Shield, and other organizations, I’ve modernized Java systems, developed REST APIs, and worked with distributed services and data platforms. I’ve also mentored engineers, reviewed code, and applied test-driven development throughout my work.
