Dedicated mathematics educator blending American curriculum and CBC to empower diverse learners.
What I'm looking for
I’m a dedicated mathematics educator with experience teaching both the American Curriculum and Kenya’s Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC). I support diverse learners, including students with disabilities such as ADHD and dyslexia, with a strong focus on inclusive, student-centered learning.
In my current role as a Full-Time and Part-Time Teacher at International Treasure House Ministries (ITHM) (January 2025–Present), I teach Mathematics across Grades 5–9 and help learners succeed in both curriculum approaches. I design and develop mathematics curriculum, lesson plans, assessments, and instructional resources that strengthen confidence, independence, and academic excellence.
I’m proactive about instruction that meets learners where they are. I implement differentiated instruction and educational technology to support diverse learners, prepare students for academic assessments, and support the development of critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and problem-solving skills through targeted interventions.
Previously, as a Class Teacher at P.C.E.A Makadara Academy and Junior Secondary School (January 2023–December 2024), I contributed to curriculum planning and evaluation, delivered engaging lessons integrating 21st-century skills and educational technology, and designed assessments to monitor progress. I also completed teaching practice as a Teacher Trainee at Tenges Secondary School (May–August 2021), planning and delivering lessons aligned with curriculum requirements while using learner-centered approaches.
