Brian Franco

I’m a junior software engineer focused on building clean, responsive applications that integrate real-time data with well-structured backend APIs. In my Dual Wallet Simulator project, I developed backend API functionality with Node.js and Express and built the responsive front end using React and TypeScript.

In my IT Analyst Intern role at The University of Chicago, I audited over 40 IT infrastructure rooms and validated 300+ technology assets. I identified technical issues, escalated findings to senior team members, and supported accurate IT documentation and asset tracking in a collaborative operational environment.

I value practical engineering discipline—clean code organization, user experience, and clear documentation—so teams can move quickly with confidence. I’ve also earned honors including Dean’s List (2024) and Honors List (2023–2025), and I’m motivated to keep growing through hands-on development.
