Brandi Nguyen

I am a recent graduate from The University of Texas at Austin, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on Software Engineering. My academic journey has equipped me with a solid foundation in software design, algorithms, and systems engineering, complemented by a GPA of 3.29. I have honed my skills through relevant coursework and hands-on projects, particularly in software development and systems design.

Currently, I am working as an Associate Software Engineer at Capital One, where I develop and maintain a high-volume customer segmentation platform. My role involves building scalable batch processing pipelines using Apache Kafka and implementing event-driven architectures to optimize marketing strategies. I have a proven track record of translating complex business requirements into effective technical solutions, significantly enhancing customer engagement rates.

In addition to my technical expertise, I have experience as a Manufacturing Engineer Intern at WESCO and a Software Engineer Intern at First Trust Portfolios. These roles have allowed me to drive process improvements, develop custom software tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.
