What I'm looking for

I’m seeking a research internship beginning January 2027. I’m particularly drawn to interpretability, multimodal AI, and AI safety, while remaining open to research across machine learning and applied mathematics more broadly.

At SPiDeR Lab, I proposed and developed Similarity-Preserving Variational Recurrent Auto-Encoders, a deep time-series clustering method with an unsupervised model-selection procedure. I’m currently finalizing a preprint from this research internship for submission to a Q1 journal.

I also developed the Python implementation of the UniversalCVI R package for cluster validation tasks.

For a machine learning project, I developed a regression pipeline to predict second-hand fashion prices using Vestiaire Collective listings. I enriched the data with web scraping, tuned models with Optuna, and deployed a Streamlit demo.

I’m particularly drawn to interpretability, multimodal AI, and AI safety, and I’m open to research across machine learning and applied mathematics more broadly. I’m seeking a research internship beginning January 2027.
