What I'm looking for

I'm looking to continue building evidence-based nutrition-care experience, particularly in sports nutrition, gut health, diabetes, weight management, and complex clinical conditions while pursuing my MSc in Sports Nutrition.

I'm currently completing community service as a dietitian at Klerksdorp/Tshepong Tertiary Hospital Complex, where I provide medical nutrition interventions for patients with complex health conditions.

I work independently over weekends and alongside multidisciplinary teams, hospital foodservice, and wards. My responsibilities include stock control, auditing, kitchen and ward education, and peer reviews.

During my BSc Dietetics & Nutrition studies at the University of the Free State, I delivered nutrition education to the Cheetahs rugby team and gained experience across public hospitals in Bloemfontein, Botshabelo, and Trompsburg. I also completed a breastfeeding course and contributed to a group that won best research in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences.

I'm especially passionate about sports nutrition, gut health, diabetes, weight management, allergies and intolerances, and evidence-based nutrition strategies. In August 2026, I'll further my studies through an MSc in Sports Nutrition with the Institute of Performance Nutrition.
