What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a team where I can build low-latency backend services with Go and gRPC, ship user-facing features with React, and apply RAG/LLM integrations responsibly—while growing through testing, open collaboration, and ownership.

I build production-grade backend systems with a focus on low latency and reliable communication. I built and maintained 15+ production-grade APIs in Go supporting REST and gRPC for low-latency internal and external communication.

I also enjoy integrating intelligent automation into real services. I implemented real-time OpenAI model integrations for response generation and automation, reducing latency by 30%, and I added unit and integration tests covering 80%+ of code paths to reduce production bugs.

I contribute to open source and ship projects end-to-end. As an OpenStreetMap Open Source Contributor, I’ve contributed bug fixes and improvements to the iD editor, and I’ve built RAG + Langchain experiences (Hacker News AI Agent), a full-stack search engine (GitFindr), a BitTorrent client in Go (GoTorrent), and graph-based Wikipedia shortest paths in Neo4j (Six Degrees of Wikipedia), while also serving as Student Coordinator to organize technical talks and a nationwide hackathon.
