What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a remote role where I can own reliability and platform engineering for high-throughput systems, keep 99.9%+ uptime, and scale an Internal Developer Platform with strong observability, IaC governance, and developer self-service.

I’m a Lead Site Reliability Engineer and Cloud Engineer with 7+ years designing, operating, and scaling mission-critical AWS infrastructure in the fintech sector. I’m currently serving as Lead SRE at Hubtel, Ghana’s leading payment and merchant services platform.

At Hubtel, I oversee a complex estate of 150+ microservices with a 99.9%+ uptime commitment, lead and mentor a team of 3 Senior SREs, and own end-to-end reliability for core merchant products such as Hubtel POS, Mobile POS, Merchant Dashboard, Variables Portal, and the API gateway. I architect and operate AWS and Kubernetes-based platforms (EKS/ECS/EC2, RDS, Lambda) and run observability with Datadog to drive SLO tracking, alerting, and incident response while reducing MTTD and MTTR.

I’ve promoted to Lead SRE within my first year at Hubtel by delivering high-availability outcomes and strengthening cross-team reliability execution. I’m now spearheading adoption of an Internal Developer Platform with Humanitec—building golden paths, standardizing deployment workflows, and enabling developer self-service—while scaling platform engineering best practices through Terraform, Spacelift, and Azure DevOps.
