Barsana Chhetri

I’m a result-oriented graduate student in Information Science and Engineering specializing in Software Design and Web Technologies. I focus on turning requirements into end-to-end full-stack applications that are deployable, secure, and measurable.

I’ve led full-stack work on Drialert, where I implemented a real-time Python detection module using OpenCV and dlib (EAR) and built a backend that triggers alarms and stores detection timestamps and image proof in MongoDB. I also developed a “Career Bridge” placement management portal using the MERN stack, adding secure authentication with JWT, role-based authorization, and RESTful APIs to manage job postings, applications, and student records.

I enjoy collaborating, debugging, and iterating quickly—bringing a strong foundation in Java, Python, SQL, Git, Flask, and cloud concepts from my AWS Cloud Foundations course. I’m actively seeking Software Development or Full-Stack Developer opportunities where I can contribute immediately and keep improving product quality.
