In my self-directed Linux administration lab training, I installed and configured RedHat, CentOS, and Ubuntu systems, including partitioning and file system setup using LVM.

I configured and tested DNS, web server, and Samba file-sharing services, and managed users, groups, and file permissions in simulated multi-user environments.

I diagnosed simulated system and network issues, then applied firewall rules and security-hardening practices. In the Mastercard Cybersecurity Virtual Experience Program on Forage, I completed a job simulation as an analyst on Mastercard’s Security Awareness Team, identifying areas for security training and helping report threats such as phishing.

I also developed Python scripts for file handling and automation, and built a command-line calculator with input validation and error handling. I’m seeking a junior Linux system administration, IT support, or system administrator internship role where I can apply my troubleshooting and security-hardening skills in a live production environment.
