At IIT Kharagpur, I developed an autonomous greenhouse harvesting robot that combines real-time crop vision with a custom 5-DOF robotic manipulator. My Ph.D. thesis was submitted in 2026, and my research focuses on precision agriculture and agricultural automation.
My work includes deep-learning-based capsicum detection and segmentation, including a real-time Android application for in-field capsicum identification. I’ve published 25 peer-reviewed journal papers, 21 as first author, and my research has received over 450 citations.
As a Prime Minister’s Research Fellow, I also contributed to teaching through NPTEL courses and university-level instruction. My work has resulted in patents and design registrations, as well as software copyrights for agricultural AI applications.
