What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can deliver evidence-informed mental health counselling and crisis support, manage high-risk cases responsibly, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and continuously improve referral and care processes for measurable client outcomes.

I am a Mental Health Counsellor and Social Worker with experience supporting individuals and families through complex mental health and child-protection needs. At AfroCentric Health, I manage and respond to electronic requests for assistance, conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, and provide counseling for stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar, schizophrenia, and substance-related concerns.

I develop personalized treatment plans based on clinical evaluation, monitor progress, and adjust interventions to ensure effective outcomes—especially in high-risk cases requiring immediate containment and crisis support. Previously, as a School Social Worker and Social Worker, I contributed to school counselling programme development, conducted home visits and interviews, investigated allegations of abuse and neglect, coordinated child-protection projects, and built referral pathways to connect clients with essential community and government services.
