Asmit Deshwal
@asmitdeshwal
I design and ship research-led product interfaces, systems, and front-end experiences.
What I'm looking for
I take products from rough briefs to shipped interfaces, covering research, information architecture, interaction design, UI, and the design system underneath. Two of my own products are live.
For DPIChecker, I set four written product principles, designed evidence-led result cards and a print-size ladder, and specified a token system powering 147 pages across eight languages. For Teste Teclado, I designed a Brazil-first keyboard diagnostic across three test modes, four physical layouts, and 66 pages in eight locales.
I also shape product systems and interaction direction for early-stage concepts. On CapySprings, I scripted the first 30 seconds, created a twelve-rule priority system, and simulated 108,000 frames to uncover two design bugs before playtesting.
Since 2021, I’ve shipped product and interface design work for founders and small teams in 12 countries, with more than 100 engagements for clients in the United States. My practice combines end-to-end product design with front-end implementation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Astro, and Tailwind.

Made the homepage perform the product's mechanism with a taste flip and press-and-hold ritual, both specified as interaction contracts at wireframe stage. Delivered eleven sections and 18 hand-drawn illustrations within 240KB.
Product Designer and Engineer
DPIChecker
Framed the product on four written principles and designed result cards with source attribution and a print-size ladder. Wrote a token system specification before the first screen, enabling 147 pages across 8 languages from one route map.
Product Designer and Design Engineer
TesteTeclado
Designed a Brazil-first keyboard diagnostic with ABNT2 as the default layout, including three test modes and four physical layouts. Solved 107 interactive keycaps with zero tab stops and maintained a monochrome chrome with oversized pastel section blocks.
Product Designer and Design Engineer
