Aslı Demir

As an occupational therapist, I have a deep knowledge and understanding of various therapeutic approaches and aim to offer innovative solutions for skill acquisition for meaningful activities.

My training in the field of pediatrics (nutrition, behavior, sensory integration, neuroplasticity, polyvagal theory, assessment, online sessions and session management, aquatic rehabilitation practices) provides an effective and supportive area for my clients. With these approaches, I frame individuals depending on their personal differences, environment and occupational activity. I continue my work by taking occupational therapy home sessions in areas such as sensory integration disorders, independence in daily life activities, social interaction and communication. I enjoy using art activities such as music, clay and jewelry design in my sessions.

In the field of preventive occupational therapy, I conducted a thesis study covering the evaluation and primary, secondary and tertiary level protection of office workers experiencing physical pain and providing holistic occupational therapy support during the intervention process.

I am determined to continuously update my knowledge and skills about occupational therapy. This allows me to plan my clients’ therapy with the most up-to-date methods and provide them with the best possible support.

On the other hand, I am a community volunteer in the Education and Activities Club at the Yücel Culture Foundation to help with the problems experienced by young people and those who remain young.
