I’m a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Assistant with 5+ years of healthcare experience across pulmonary medicine, emergency care, and inpatient hospital settings. I’m known for patient triage, calm communication, and keeping care moving smoothly in fast-paced environments.

In my current role, I collaborate with multiple providers to deliver high-quality care in a busy specialty practice. I handle patient intake, rooming, vital signs, and clinical assessments, and I administer IM and subcutaneous injections according to provider orders.

I also manage critical behind-the-scenes work that patients feel immediately—coordinating prior authorizations, communicating with insurance companies, and scheduling appointments, procedures, diagnostic testing, and follow-up care. I maintain accurate patient records and documentation within EMR systems, including Epic and Cerner.

Previously, I supported a high-volume emergency department by assisting with emergency procedures, conscious sedation cases, splinting, cardiac emergencies, and trauma care. I’ve also provided direct bedside support as a Certified Nursing Assistant, including assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs and glucose levels, and supporting wound and Foley catheter care while adhering to safety and infection-control standards.
