I’m a cybersecurity professional with 4+ years of combined experience in SOC operations and enterprise network engineering, focused on SIEM-based threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management. I’ve built detection content and analytics rules through hands-on home-lab work, and I hold an M.S. in Cybersecurity Operations, CompTIA Security+, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900).

As a SOC Analyst, I monitor and triage security alerts using Microsoft Sentinel and Splunk, and I investigate security events through log analysis with KQL/SPL and Windows/Linux event sources. I support incident response by documenting findings, validating IOCs, and escalating confirmed incidents, and I run vulnerability assessments using Nessus with follow-up scans to verify remediation.

Before that, I worked as a Network Engineer, monitoring enterprise infrastructure and maintaining high availability using tools like Cacti and Nagios. I also built and validated a Home Lab SOC (Microsoft Sentinel) that centralizes log ingestion from Azure AD, authors custom KQL analytics rules, and visualizes alerts in Sentinel workbooks.
