At Juicyway, I design and maintain Elixir/OTP payment and settlement services, with a focus on correctness and auditability. I cut payout processing time from 2 minutes to 5 seconds by removing redundant steps in the transaction path.
I implemented event-driven processing for authorization, settlement, fees, reversals, and merchant payouts. I also built provider integrations and recovery tooling to reconcile transactions and safely reconstruct state after outages or delayed webhooks.
At OnahAfrica, I led a team delivering a mission-critical backend system under tight timelines. I designed secure identity and authentication systems, including multi-factor authentication, and established CI/CD and automated testing.
Earlier, I built backend APIs and payment integrations at Binance, designed a NestJS backend at Sorosoke, and developed custom APIs at BusinessDayNewspaper that eliminated 500+ hours of manual processing annually. I also created the Paystack SDK for Node.js and the open-source projects Ophis and Mora.
