I’m a Cyber Security intern working with hands-on penetration testing, security operations workflows, and practical security tooling. I’m currently pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Information Security) at Vellore Institute of Technology, building my foundation in both offensive and defensive security.

At UD Trucks, I conducted penetration testing on 5 web applications using Burp Suite, identifying and reporting critical vulnerabilities including SQL Injection and Cross-Site Scripting. I advised Access Control measures aligned to Identity and Access Management System policies, and the teams remediated findings quickly. In simulated attacks, I identified the main causes of code-based vulnerabilities and reduced application flaws by 30%.

During security assessments, I analyzed 200+ network packets in Wireshark, spotting unencrypted HTTP traffic and potential data exposure risks. Within the Security Operations framework, I documented 8+ instances of XSS and SQLi and provided detailed remediation steps to development teams to improve application security. I also strengthened my understanding of secure network configurations by completing cybersecurity courses covering Security Frameworks and best practices.

Beyond internships, I build tools that support real investigations: I engineered a Python CLI Vulnerability Scanner that checks open ports and tests for SQL Injection and XSS with JSON reporting. I also developed Phishalyzer, a phishing email analysis tool that parses .eml files, extracts threat-relevant signals, and generates JSON security verdicts using TF-IDF + Logistic Regression.
