At S&P Global Inc., I researched and captured M&A transaction data from financial statements and regulatory filings, then checked reporting against GAAP and IFRS principles. I worked with financial advisors and other stakeholders to confirm transaction data accuracy.
I led internal audits of banking-sector M&A datasets, identified 10+ discrepancies, and developed control procedures and QA protocols. During a LEAN exercise, I removed 2–3 unnecessary process stages, and I led BOT-tool automation projects for data mapping.
I maintained M&A metadata in Collibra, including business glossaries, data quality rules, lineage and issue workflows. I also supported ETL and UAT work, tested chatbot prompts, used SQL and Python for data checks, and trained and mentored junior analysts.
