At Koyonzo Special School for the Visually Impaired, I developed and delivered Mathematics and Geography lessons for learners with diverse educational needs during my teaching practice.
I prepared lesson plans and schemes of work, designed learning activities, and assessed learners through terminal examinations. I also provided individualized remedial support in mathematical concepts and geographical content.
During my field attachment at Koyonzo Special School for the Visually Impaired, I taught Mathematics and social studies using specialized approaches for visually impaired learners. I adapted materials with Braille and tactile graphics, including maps, diagrams, and equations.
I hold a Bachelor of Education (Special Needs Education) from Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST), with a specialization in visual impairment and teaching subjects of Mathematics and Geography.
