At Payment Assist Limited, I wrote most of the company API, including its loan calculation and repayment logic. I also led development of direct debit, bank, card, Google Pay and Apple Pay integrations now used for all its loans.
I designed fault-tolerant payment workflows with idempotency guarantees, audit logging and disaster recovery, and created public C# and Go SDKs for the B2B loans API from scratch.
At STR Group Limited, I was the sole engineer responsible for the accounting platform. After rewriting faulty core logic and optimizing the database, pages that had taken about two minutes loaded in under one second.
My current personal projects explore low-latency finance systems: NanoFill is a C++ order book and trading engine, NetBook processes market data packets with DPDK, and Theta Surface fits live Bitcoin options volatility data. I’m living in Japan and have JLPT N1.
