At KOCH FERTILIZER, I resolved severe water hammering in the primary reformer fuel-gas preheat system while maintaining critical fuel-gas temperatures. I also initiated a safer refrigeration-system flash-drum blowdown system and recommended equipment and valve relocations to mitigate operational risk.
At MITSUBISHI HITACHI POWER SYSTEMS, I monitored CCGT assets using OSIsoft PI, SmartSignal, and PredicIT, identifying developing anomalies to prevent unplanned outages. I diagnosed gas turbine and balance-of-plant issues and developed corrective strategies to improve reliability, efficiency, and financial performance.
At AIR LIQUIDE, I directed operations at a 320 MW cogeneration plant and led a $250M construction and modernization project. I managed 25 employees and three cost centers, with 100% environmental compliance and zero accidents.
Earlier, I optimized thermal, solar, and nuclear assets at TEXAS ENERGY and provided performance diagnostics at FLORIDA POWER & LIGHT. My experience also includes plant operations supervision, high-pressure steam turbine and boiler operations, and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from New York Institute of Technology.
